Beginning Ballet

No sewing required. The dancers will wear their hair ½ up with curls on the sides. There is a bow included with the costume which will need to be secured in their hair with criss-crossed bobby pins.

Preschool Tap

Some of the straps may need to be tightened and then sewn accordingly. The costume should be pulled up from the front chest area and then the straps should be sewn tight to hold it in place (Not crossed). There is a bow that will be worn in the dancers’ hair. Their hair is to be done with ½ pulled up and curls on the sides and back. The bow will be tied around the ponytail holder that you use to pull up some of their hair. There is a picture on the costume bag that you received.

Primary 1 Ballet

Tighten straps as needed.

Primary 1 Tap

Tighten straps as needed. Wear band around head and secure with criss-crossed bobby pins.

Primary 2 Ballet

No sewing required. Please steam the tutu. The choker is worn on the neck. The flower is attached to the left side of the bun.

Primary 2 Tap

No sewing required. The choker is worn on the neck. The flower is attached to the left side of the bun.

Primary 3 Ballet

Tighten Straps as needed.

Primary 3 Tap

Please secure the rhinestone belt to the center of the costume. There are 2 shoe bows that need to be tied around the tap shoes. The pony tail holder goes around the bun and the bow sits on top of the bun. Tighten straps as needed.

Primary 4 Ballet

Please steam the skirt.

Primary 4 Tap

Wear headband with flower positioned on left side of head and secure with criss-crossed bobby pins.

Primary 4 Jazz

Please sew the rhinestone belt buckle to the center of the costume. The orange headband is to be worn on the dancer’s head and secured with criss-crossed bobby pins.

Intermediate 1 Ballet

Please steam tutu OR keep the costume hanging upside down. The straps need to be crossed in the back, adjusted and sewn as needed. Please remove the flower from the costume and wear it on the left side of the dancer's bun.

Intermediate 1 Tap

No sewing required. We verified that there were two gloves in each dancer's bag when they were passed out. Please wear the hat on the left side of the dancer’s head and secure it with criss-crossed bobby pins. Steam the entire costume to get rid of wrinkles. The diamond pin is worn in the center of the chest.

Intermediate 1 Jazz

No sewing required. Do not wear the hair piece.

Intermediate 2 Ballet

Please steam tutu OR keep the costume hanging upside down. The straps need to be crossed in the back, adjusted and sewn as needed. Please remove the flower from the costume and wear it on the left side of the dancer's bun. The actual costume is another color.

Intermediate 2 Tap

Wear headband around head as shown, with bow positioned on left side of dancer's head. Secure rhinestone belt buckle to the center of the costume if necessary.

Intermediate Hip Hop

Dancer's need to wear a black sports bra under their costumes. No sewing is required.
